The spine of Charlotte's greenway system, running north from the Freedom Park area toward uptown. The nearest reliable place for an uninterrupted long run or ride.

Running the neighborhood itself

Most residents simply run the grid. The interior streets are flat, shaded, low-traffic and easy to string into three- to six-mile loops without crossing a major road more than twice.

Further afield

McAlpine Creek Greenway to the south-east and the Sugar Creek network to the north add tens of miles of paved trail within a fifteen-minute drive.
